Worthington Johnson, Jr.
As President of Lawrence Capital Management, Inc., Mr. Johnson, oversees various aspects of the firm's business including setting asset allocation, strategy implementation and portfolio management along with contributing to the firm's investment research. Prior to founding Lawrence Capital Management, Mr. Johnson served as Managing Director of Trainer, Wortham & Company, where he helped oversee investment and economic research, developed investment strategy, and managed investment portfolios for substantial clients.
After attending the University of Denver's School of Business, Mr. Johnson, began his career at The Bank of New York as an investment management representative. In 1977, he joined the Employee Benefit Trust Division at Manufactures Hanover Trust Company, where he spent three years formulating a national marketing strategy based on specific prospect needs. In 1980, Mr. Johnson attended the Columbia University School of Business.
Maria Natole
As Assistant Vice President of Lawrence Capital Management, Ms. Natole is responsible for the firm's daily operations. She serves as the primary client contact, acting as their liaison for banking, tax, legal, credit, brokerage, custody, and fiduciary services. In addition, Ms. Natole oversees such internal aspects of the business as trading, compliance, and accounting.
Ms. Natole joined Trainer, Wortham in 1978 as an administrative assistant, and left with Mr. Johnson to help found Lawrence Capital Management. Previously she worked with American Broadcasting Company in their Operations Management Group and Columbia Broadcasting Company in Network Billing. Ms. Natole attended the City University of New York, majoring in business management, and she is a Notary Public of the State of New York. |
